Drake

How do you follow up "Best I Ever Had", "Successful", "I'm Goin' In" and "Forever"? Like this. Here is the long awaited and safe to say most anticipated first single off Drizzy's Thank Me Later album. Personally, I don't get all the Drake haters out there. Dude can rap and he makes good music. Jealousy is a bitch. Oh yeah, this one is produced by Boi-1da. And for some bonus Drake, the NahRight jack of "Get Off It". Shouts to the homie DJ Wristspect. UPDATE: After many listens I don't love it, don't hate, but I guess i was expecting more. What do you think???

With big annual sporting events piling up (Superbowl, Vancouver 2010 Olympics, Tiger's coming back) it's commercial season again. It's always dope to see companies pull out all the stops for these 30 second epics. It's only fitting that Sprite would grab Drizzy for their latest spot. Peep below for the BTS. (Sorry for the bootleg version above)
The Grammy Awards are bullshit. This performance is cool (although not cool enough for Kanye to show up to perform his verse on "Forever").

Trizzy remixes Drake's and Birdman's "Money To Blow" and re-titles it "Loonies To Blow". Get it? Drake and A-Trak are from Canada... Canada has the loonie instead of the dollar dollar bill... Anyways, Trizzy flips it and turns itinto an electro party. Link jacked from October'sVeryOwn. Go Canada!

Here are a couple older Drake records that are just hitting Blogworld now. "Zone" is a Drake demo and "Successful" has an extra verse. This is for the rap nerd in you.

Here's what Drake sounds like on a classic Rakim beat.

Some dudes make their names freestyling on the beat of the week. Busy already had a name on his solo shit, but he still murders tracks with his dubs. Like this one. Since we postin Forever this week, here's the G steez.

Nice uptempo remix of this Birdman track. Props to DJ Hunt. Check him out at HUNT.FM

Watching Steve Aoki jump off his turntables into the crowd in LA is fun. If I had long hair I would take my shirt off and do that too. For now all I can do is play his sick remixes. Like this one... pretty filthy. Never heard of these rappers tho.
