Hov and Rihanna team up with E.S. Posthumous for this ill version of "Run This Town". Congrats to the Saints!
With big annual sporting events piling up (Superbowl, Vancouver 2010 Olympics, Tiger's coming back) it's commercial season again. It's always dope to see companies pull out all the stops for these 30 second epics. It's only fitting that Sprite would grab Drizzy for their latest spot. Peep below for the BTS. (Sorry for the bootleg version above)
By now, you may or may not have heard that Swizz Beatz will be taking a serious step into the art world. An avid collector of Basquiats, Ernie Barnes, and Warhols, Swizz is now making the conscious effort to be a world renowned artist himself. Not a far cry from beat-making since that in itself is painting a picture with sound.
Not that funny this time... C'MON SON! How you gonna have a huge youtube internet phenomenon and shoot it in an echo-y ass hallway of your grandma's house??? Get a mic!

I say sort of because there was a shitty unfinished version floating around titled "I Be". This is the CDQ finished version and the proper title is "Highs N Lows". Produced by Dot Da Genius (the same dude who did "Day N Nite"), this track is from Cudi's demo and was recorded 3 or 4 years back. Is it just me, or is does Cudi from a few years back trump anything he's making now?? Anyways, I'll let Dot Da Genius break it down further...
"This must be the realest shit ever. We did this track like 3-4 yrs ago during the grind, trying to get shit moving. Just knowing what he was dealing with during this time period makes this record more than just a song. The sample used in the song was taken from Bob Dylan’s “Lay Lady Lay”. I noticed a bad quality version of it leaked so I figure might as well put out a better version."

Here it is folks. B.o.B's May 25th mixtape. If you are wondering why it is called May 25th the reason is because that is the day that Atlantic says they are going to release B.o.B's debut album The Adventures Of Bobby Ray. Let's hope they aren't playing.

The good news is Shyne is back. The bad news is we have to listen to fucking DJ Khaled yell all over his comeback song. Anyways, take the good with the bad and grab this. Not Shyne's best work, but it's a start. Welcome back.

This hit the net late last week but since I'm a sucker for unreleased music I had to throw it up still. "The Tournament" was recorded during The Ecstatic sessions but didn't make the final cut.
